What this engagement answers

Three questions every growing business needs to confront

Most business improvement efforts fail not because of bad ideas, but because the wrong problems get fixed in the wrong order without governance to make the changes stick.

1

Where is value leaking?

We map your core processes end-to-end using value stream mapping, identify where time and money are being lost, and quantify the waste in EBITDA terms. Most businesses are surprised by how much recoverable value they find.

2

What should you fix first?

Using Pareto analysis and financial impact scoring, we identify the three to five improvements that will deliver 80% of the value with the least disruption. Not everything at once — the right things in the right order.

3

How do you make it stick?

Recommendations are structured with governance: escalation paths, risk acceptance documentation, named owners and a 90-day milestone roadmap. The work does not end with the report.

The engagement model

What you receive

A complete set of written deliverables

Not a presentation of impressions. Every engagement produces the same set of documented outputs.

Executive Summary Report

10–15 page document: all findings, recommendations and the implementation roadmap. Written for a board or senior leadership audience.

Process Maps (VSM)

Current-state value stream maps for all processes reviewed, with waste annotated and a future-state sketch for each.

Financial Impact Model

Excel workbook: EBITDA impact per issue, implementation cost, payback calculation and sensitivity analysis.

RAG Dashboard

One-page traffic-light status view of all findings and recommendations. Suitable for board papers and ongoing progress tracking.

Analytical Decisions Register

A documented record of all analytical decisions made during the engagement. Full audit trail — what was investigated, what was excluded and why.

90-Day Implementation Roadmap

Milestone-by-milestone action plan with named owners, measurable success criteria and escalation thresholds for each recommendation.

Investment

Three engagement tiers

Every tier includes the complete deliverable set. The difference is scope and depth.

Focused Review
From £3,500
+ VAT · 4 weeks
  • 1 process or function
  • Up to 3 stakeholder interviews
  • Top 3 recommendations
  • All deliverables included
  • 30-day follow-up review
Portfolio Review
From £8,500
+ VAT · 8 weeks
  • Business-wide review
  • Up to 8 stakeholder interviews
  • Strategic improvement roadmap
  • All deliverables included
  • 30-day follow-up review

Payment: 50% on engagement sign-off, 50% on delivery of the final report. Expenses (travel, printing) at cost. All prices exclude VAT.

What makes this independent: Every finding in the final report is supported by objective evidence — data, observation or corroborated stakeholder testimony. If a finding cannot be evidenced, it does not go in the report. The review will tell you what is actually happening, not what you want to hear. That is what makes it commercially useful.
Is this the right engagement?

Good fit and not a fit

✓  Good fit if…

  • Revenue is growing but margins are declining
  • You know there is waste in your operations but cannot isolate where
  • Internal improvement efforts have not stuck
  • You need a board-ready case for operational investment but lack the supporting data
  • Your business is scaling and the processes that worked at half the size are breaking
  • You want an independent, evidence-based view — not a consultant who validates your existing plan

✕  Not a fit if…

  • You need a technology implementation partner
  • You are looking for a long-term outsourced management function
  • Your primary challenge is sales and marketing rather than operations or margin

Not sure which applies to you? The free 30-minute discovery call will tell us both whether this is the right engagement before any commitment is made.
